My machines do all the work. I'm just watching them. Today doesn't feel like work, really. It will keep me busy though until tomorrow, which I hope to be the most important day of the year.

I work 195 days a year, today is NOT one of them!
 I also get full pay for all the other days I am on holiday. Merry Christmas to my Mingle family.

Haven't found a job yet! Getting kinda scary...will resume search after the 1st. Having a nice holiday weekend so far. Some family here - they are napping. Going to see 'It's Complicated' in about half and hour. Just wanted to pop on and wish everyone a good day. For those of you who are having a hard day for one reason on another....Please know that I have been there (or have had holidays alone and blue, the day will pass, Meanwhile I hold special thoughts for you. They say on CNN that there are 16 million unemployed. I think it must be more like 32 million. It is truly hard times trying to find a job. I'm sure if many people had a job, they would gladly work today for double-time. I know I would. Aye aye! I used to work on Christmas day. A half day usually (8-1pm). But that was my own schedule, because i was a sub-contractor so I decided to go and work on my own. Extra 500 dollar bonus to finish it by new years' eve, I couldn't refuse. |

For 2 and a half times pay, and I live alone. Why not work it, I have a home to finish remodeling. |

I worked all eve, got home at 1:00am and shoveled my walk and the neighbors. She is like- 75, So figured I may as well get hers to. Come on over and we can think of better ways to spend energy!! You can do my dishes

Worked Christmas night. Haven't been here long enough to get time and a half. Blah.
Considering whether I can exist if I pick up a secondary full time job. 16 hours most days... Even if I could squeeze 3 months out of it, it would help financially. Groans.. I hate dealing with jobs and money and life. |
