how many of you have kids? Are there times when you wish you could call a taxi service for them to take them somewhere that you can't? I am trying to get an idea on how popular this would be, so I need your input..let me know. i'v never honestly thought about a taxi but i do laugh at how spoiled some of the kids are in my area that have drivers (taxi and relatives) drive them to school and pick them up (with engines idling) so junior and princess don't get cold and/or wet. |

My son is 23 now and on his own for 5 yrs.But when he was small and not driving yet, parents car pooled.For those days I was working, and he wanted to go to mall etc.My only advice was plan in advance, for your list of parents that we car pool with. Teaches responsibility. So the idea of a taxi service, wasn't needed.Responsibility is a requirement in my house.Or you stay home. |

And, I think the insurance you would need to purchase would be very high. Sorry I don't have anything positive.

when I was a kid, 1st grade through 3rd grade
my mom and dad worked in downtown Dallas and couldn't get to our school to pick us up so every day we had a taxi waiting for us (my sister and I) to drive us to the daycare center. seemed to work just fine. I don't remember ever having any problems that was in the mid 60's so maybe it was a safer time then or something. I dunno |

I live in NYC and I just walk out my door and put my hand up and yellow cars appear in front of me and take me to where I want to go. One day I'm hoping for the Cash Cab.  |
