5 Rules to Cheat By: Tiger Woods Edition

Now that the flood of women claiming or denying trysts with Tiger Woods has ebbed, it seems only appropriate -- or completely inappropriate -- to take a good look at his alleged sources and unconfirmed methods. Based on reports on 10 alleged mistresses (Rachel Uchitel, Jaimee Grubbs, Kalika Moquin, Jamie Jungers, Mindy Lawton, Cori Rist, Holly Sampson, Joslyn James, Julie Postle and Theresa Rogers), we've found that the reported extramarital affairs had certain things in common. Here they are, with a huge caveat: Most of this information remains unverified by Sphere or anyone else.

1. Know Your Limits
Assuming there are no more ladies coming forward -- a very shaky assumption indeed -- it looks like Tiger had trouble keeping more than three women at any one time. This chart shows the number of women he was seeing and the dates of his marriage and the birth of his two children.

2. It's Not About One-Night Stands
Based both on the astonishing number of women who have been linked to Tiger and the reported duration of their relationships with the golfer, it's clear that Woods liked variety. Ranging between one night to five-plus years, Tiger's average relationship with a mistress lasted about 18 months.

Age Is Just a Number
Youth wasn't necessarily a big draw for Woods. While three mistresses started their affairs with Woods when they were in their early 20s, another four began their encounters after turning 30. And the two oldest paramours are no spring chickens at 39 and 49 years old.

4. Blondes Have More Fun
Woods may have told his lovers that his marriage to Elin Nordegren was sexless, but many of his mistresses bear some resemblance to his wife, particularly when it comes to hair color.

Six of the 10 women sport blonde hairdos very similar in style to Nordegren's. Three go slightly darker. There was only one reported mistress with brown hair.

5. The Seedier the Better
The most consistent attribute that nearly all of Woods' mistresses share is they spent a lot of time in the seedy underbelly of society. Only one of the 10 women, 49-year-old jeweler Rogers, was not a cocktail waitress, stripper or porn star, or affiliated with a nightclub.

Note: The exact dates for three women are not known. Porn star Sampson has said that she had sex with Tiger at his bachelor party. I assume Woods' party was in September 2004. Jeweler Rogers has been said to have had a five-plus-year relationship with Tiger. I assume that she has been with Tiger throughout 2004 to 2009. Postle is said to have seen Tiger for two years starting in 2004. I assume Postle's relationship with Tiger lasted from 2004 to the end of 2005. Porn star James has reportedly provided Tiger with "years of faithful service." I assume James has been with Tiger throughout 2004 to 2009.

I had a couple women like that on my Mutual Match but they deactivated.

not to say that i condone cheating,but why is him cheating more significant that anyone else? never understood why its a huge deal that tiger (or x celebrity) cheated,but if somebody told you frank down the way cheated,there would barely be a comment.people amaze me.

the reason for the media coverage is because they are famous. I really could care less but apparently others do or the media wouldn't report on it. Tiger is in the spotlight and that is way his life is in the spotlight.

There are many more articles available. I picked this one because it was a lot lighter.

I also, to be fair, goo-gooed for other unfaithful golfers. So far, no other kitties have come forward to rat out any other woodie strokers.
