My youngest son has Cerebral Palsy and other health concerns. He is the

No matter what the disability, there is always a gift inside everyone.
My daughter plays on the sports team with the challenge kids and they
have a ball. They try really hard. There are some with Cerebral Palsy
also and one of the boys even gets out of his wheelchair to play at
third base, he is sitting on the ground, his little legs won't work, but
that doesn't stop him, he is going full speed with the use of his arms,
just crawling along to go after the baseball. He is in regular classes
at school and does very well. I had a cousin who could talk, couldn't
walk, but she would communicate with you. For yes she would put her hand
on her forehead and for no she would make a fist and boy if she was
telling you no and meant it she would scream too while making that fist
tighter and tighter. But her muscles movement was limited, but they
never knew what she had, but I know it was Muscular Dystrophy, and they
don't know what caused it when she was stricken with it right after she
started to walk, but that lady could embroidery like you wouldn't
believe. She was also an Elvis fan and had his photos posted in her
room. If she were alive today she would be almost 85 but she died back
in 1974. I miss her. She would get a bottle of beer and wrap her finger
around it and drink it.
All things are possible. Love them kids.

Fun_

I had a brother-in-law who apparently was autistic as a child and didn't
speak to anyone for years. He was talking pretty well in his 20's but
mostly preferred to keep to himself. Funny, I could swear at times he
was telepathic.
Had an incredible memory too.
