Topic: Intense Geminid Meteor Shower Peaks Tonight | |
---|---|
For you star gazers!
Late tonight is the peak of the year's most prolific annual cosmic fireworks show—the Geminid meteor shower (Geminids picture).
The meteor shower has been growing in intensity in recent decades and should be an even better holiday treat than usual this year, since it's falling in a nearly moonless week For more info, see: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2009/12/091213-geminids-geminid-meteor-shower-tonight.html |

But apparently this should be a really good show. I wonder if they aren't as famous because its winter and fewer people enjoy being outside late at night. I wish you well in your recovery! |

As much as I would love to go out and watch this, it is raining and predicted to be overcast here for the next several days. Not to mention that it's colder than...well..it's cold out.
