Lived there my whole life til I moved to FL 5 years ago. Been going there the past 5 years. My family is all up there. My son got married in Sept finally. She is non christan. I though good they could come here for Christmas. It means nothing to her family. WRONG her dad's BD is Christmas and she can't leave him alone for his BD.

Nothing is ever for nothing. There was and still is a reason for it. I wonder about this some times. I must confess :) Are you doubting my words of wisdom? YES she is Betty and so am I Well Betty....I am with you!!! I firmly believe that EVERYTHING happens for a reason and we need to open ourselves and find the lesson to be learned from it. I have kept my sanity over the years when really bad things happen by doing just that, and because I did, I am a much stronger, wiser, compassionate, giving person. Yes I find myself very forgiving.

I just fot in. Had dinner with some people from work that I haven't seen in awhile but I had to drive 1 1/2 hours to get there 3 hr round trip just for dinner? must be damn good friends See, just proves I value my friends! Now driving to Iowa for dinner might be a different story!

Where in IL? Don't need to trade houses. Can just come and stay in my house. Central Fl hour from Orlando. Charlene
