The elves actually are his hos. A good business move actually. When they're not working the streets he has them making stuff. They're not elves either. They're dwarfs! It's fairly common knowledge that dwarf hos can charge alot more! Then at the same time he can fit more of them into the same space. The whole xmas gift thing is just a cover for tax purposes. Gotta give it to him, he has a heck of an operation going on. It's not easy getting your own zip code!
