Oh, I wanted to say also, how happy I am to have seen such clear and
understandable posts. It's difficult sometimes to declare ones faults
to others

I will try to conscious of these as I post, but as was already displayed
within this very post, stopping to simply ask questions and getting
logical and responsive replies is the best way to proceed.

Thank-you all for stopping in and contributing here. I think it was
important and I know it has been enlightening. I hope others will post
too. There are some we've missed, I hope they come around before the
thread is lost.

I am keeping to a simple list of my "buttons".

1} Stupidity, not to be confused with ignorance.
2} Intolerance of others.
3} Littering.
4} Lack of self-control.
5} The condemnation of others simply because they choose not to see
things the way you do.
6} Being judgemental.
7} Ill mannered people.
8} Double negatives & improper use of the english language by those who
should know better.
9} Chewing with your mouth open! YICK!!
10} Assuming anything.
11} Reacting instead of being pro-active.
12} Hypocrites.
13} Lying.

& I am sure there are more, but those are my biggest pet peeves.

I willfully try not to let anyone try to push my buttons. I try not to
have such buttons. Yet I do. They come from past experiences I believe.
To let someone push your buttons is to let them have power over you.
Like a teenager who preeses the rules as far as he/she can to see where
your breaking point is. I believe to stick to what you know is right and
true and your buttons eventually will go away.... Shalom.... Miles

I don't think we can get rid of our buttons by simply ignoring them, but
by learning and trying to understand them.
I can only ignore things for so long, and then they get too big for me.
It takes patience and the will to understand the why.

Shalom invisible
I do too. when i said eventually go away I really mean it very well may
take a lifetime if you can but to try or the goal is not to let people
rattle your chain. So to speak. Shalom and May Yahweh's Essence Be With
You...... Miles
