Well women have to be physically attracted to the men they meet too. Of course, some men never lie about their weight/height either. Some consider a beer gut athletic. Some think 5'6" equates 6 ft tall.

But it makes sense to me because most that draw maps are men and they seem to equate an inch equals a mile. So it all comes full circle since geography is important when dating.

welcome to the site. It isn't a MUST to post pictures. There are many reasons that members don't post pictures of themselves. Some are because they might be married or cheating, but there are plenty of other reasons for not posting a picture.

As long as the pictures aren't against the rules, the members are given the choice of what they want on their profile.

Yes, pictures get more responses, but it's not a requirement.

<---...i don't post a picture because i don't want to ..and don't have to ..and you can't make me. ..but why is it if someone doesn't post a picture that its automatically assumed to be for negative reasons..after all how is one to know that all pictures

posted are real..and wouldn't it stand to reason ..that i would post a picture knowing that it would increase my responses ..thus increasing the number of scam victims..so the whole idea of people not posting pictures is because they are scammers is well..illogical

..nor am i ugly..i just choose not to...and after all it is still a free country..sorta

It does go both ways IF people decide to lie about their appearance.

I think if a person was seriously trying to meet some one to date that they would want a picture up

myself, I have the best girlfriend in the world already and am not looking so I don't need a pic

...i know that posting a picture would increase my chances of getting a date ,but the fact is being shy,i probably wouldn't ask anyone any way..therefore i alleviate the problem ..i just like the company here,people here are pretty nice..but i still won't post a picture..

This thread brought another point to mind, keep your profile currant. I had been moved for about a month and was reminded to update my profile by an email saying we lived close to each other....Granted it was a very busy month, have since updated my profile to reflect change...or did I do enough - now I have to go look to see if I changed my location....

As for pics, I have some up from past Spring but am not to savvy on changing size etc....

but everytime you DO post a photo, i get all weak in the knees.
