 you know i make these threads and as I read your post(Pats I laugh at )I think why aren't people emailing these nice people who have alot to offer? go for it people

I say the same thing about my................... never mind

being with someone that appreciated me and my kids, someone that wanted to be with us and won't just push us aside, someone that makes me laugh and I smile just thinking about him, someone that will be the last person I think of as I lay my head down to sleep at night and the first one I think of when I wake in the mornings (not including my kids, who I think about all the time), someone I can enjoy the simplier things in life with (cuddling on the couch while watching the kids play, enjoying a day at the park because it makes the kids happy). Wow, I have all of that and I haven't even met him yet.

I am happy. After Bob died I knew I would be so again but it took a lot, a lot of work...just held onto the knowledge that if I did the work...happiness and love would come back to me. I did the work, am still doing it really, but happiness is now mine to own. I own my happiness. OK, not saying that I don't "want someone to make me happy" BUT I do know that - that is an expression, we are all responsible for our own happiness. I want someone to be happy with, but that was not the question... OK, right now to make me happy, shovel my driveway for me. Give me a decent job. Paint this one wall that is two stories high in my stairwell. Call me, old friend, just because you thought of me. and Please oh please, let my son's back be not nearly as bad as we think it is going to prove to be!!!
