my sister and brother nlaw we were sitting watching tv with my oldest nephew he was just a yr old and we got blown away from the news report that he had died..

i have a cousin that does sound stage for the singers and she did a sound set up for julian lennon..

Nope... it was a year before my time But I do enjoy his music and can understand the influence he had on his fans!

I cried then... and then cried again when my best fried died to this song...

Actually, it was 29 years ago ... I remember since it was the first year of my parents divorce. I caught the news of his death over the radio. Honestly, the other reason I remember was that music was changing pretty substantially that year ... I say it because really it had a more profound influence on me today than back then.
