HI! flowerforyou

I know the emotions that can boil and bring you to act combative with an otherwise “innocent” person.

It’s OK to be angry or explosive if you direct your energy the right way.

If you aren’t one to exercise or take a walk or you need more of an outlet, tell someone you need to yell “toward them”. Let them know you really need to blow off some steam, and ask them to just listen, not talk, not give advice – but for them to just absorb your venting.

When I was younger I would pick fights if I was pent up inside. I realized I was hurting the wrong people, plus I seemed like a crazed maniac. I learned that being honest with my emotions and seeking a healthy way to let it out was my best hope. If someone was at the other end of my vent, I explained why I was being so confrontational.

It sure made life easier and kept my relationships sane!

If all else fails, go kick some rocks -- or throw them at boys!

All else said - going to find some boys to throw rocks at!!!!!!!!!!!

Really thank you for you heart felt answer...I have never done the crazed maniac thing....maybe it is not to late...LOL

Do a slow count to 5,000,000,000, by the time you finish you'll forget what you're mad about. You may need to take vacation time to complete this.

Oh my gosh I can't even read that number!!!! LOLOLOL Laughter is the best medicine! I might reach it and not even now I was goal successful!!!!

Having family problems is so stressful. No wonder you are keyed up. Wanting to fight is a natural reaction when you feel helpless to change a situation. It is core to our survival instincts. Try to do something to distract yourself and relax. All problems are easier to cope with with rest and a clear mind. Know you have friends and we care about you being upset.

Usually when I am upset I clean something. Gives me a feeling of control of at least something. usually that makes me hot and sweaty so I take a bubble bath and fall into the bed once I have cooled out.

Thank you so much! Clean something....LOL - the brushes I am painting with or the rest of the house am ignoring....either way, CLEAN really does help!

You want vent, I'll give you vent! This ho that I've been with for 3 /12 years moves out on me, files a DV charge on me, falsely, and is boinking the guy upstairs from me, I have a $25K attorney and we will slam dunk this case, meanwhile the D.A. asks for a continuance because the "alleged victim" was in a coma and hospitalized because of extreme alcohol abuse. You may not live the day this case comes to trial, sweetheart, you've burned your last bridge. Too bad about your liver, maybe if you found Christ earlier you would not be in the situation you're in.
