i guess i'll start out by being honest: i cant stand the radio these days.. i havent heard a new pop song worth listening to in years. possibly because deep down, its all just the same song with different lyrics.

does anyone else share my philosophy?

If you don't like what's being played on the radio, don't listen to the radio. Simple, right?

2 years ago I bought an mp3/cd player for my car for about 110 bucks and I installed it. I basically load up a CD with mp3s (I can fit over 3-400 songs on one this way) and that one CD lasts for months.. I got over like 15 CDs like that, with all kinds of music on them. It also has a plug for USB flashdrive, so for that, 2Gigabyte of space is more than enough for 1000s of music.

yeah man
right now i got a blackish strat with a floyd rose (pictured), a Peavy Rockmaster that i'm tryin to sell, and an acoustic that i frankensteined.

u play?

Nope. Saved up for three years to get an acoustic... and never learned. I think if I had had friends that played I would have been more involved.

But I was raised by a professional singer and my ex-neighbor (who I'm still friends with [he moved less than a mile away]) is a professional blues guitarist.

I attempt to sing.

Attempt is the operative word. Hehe.
