Almost equal really.
Each vehicle has pros and cons. Online dating allows me to know their personality quicker but I may not like their "real life" appearance. Sometimes pictures are not always a good indicator. Meeting in a public venue allows the physical attraction to grab me but it might take longer to know if their personality is sane and congenial. I'll stick to both; I don't want to limit my chances! |

Well lets think about this, it's just advertisement really! The internet just provides exsposure, so really it is much easier to meet a larger audience! If your seacrching for that special someone it's tiring and the internet kinda makes it much easier in my opinion. although asking someone for a date in person has a much higher success rate. so if anything I think the internet provides a lot of dates, just a lot of of bad dates to boot!

I find it easier to meet ladies in common places such as supermarkets, coffee shops.....etc than in any dating site . What about you ?. It's much easier for me to meet them in my bed... when I fall asleep...in my dreams.... |

I'm a bit similar to callaigh. I avoid meeting ladies in coffee shops. I like to meet coffee wenches in coffee shops. And Internet wenches on dating sites. For my ladies needs, I prefer to go to Buckingham Palace or to the Czar's Winter Palace in St. Petersburgh.
(Of course I'm joking. We all know that all ladies on this site are women. And all women are true ladies, unless they object to this name-calling and labelling as a man's pleasure toy. I mean respect. Look; I mean no harm. Peace. Please don't hit me.) |

I have to agree with you for the most part. I don't think it offers anymore chances of a bad date than in person does. I guess I am like Melody I am not going to discount the different options of in real life or the internet. I have had some really experiences on the net. |

Personally I believe it is easier to weed out more of the undesireables on line because if you ask the right questions in e-mail conversations you can avoid a lot of people you would not enjoy being with. In a walk up meeting you know nothing.

Now on topic,,, I actually like the internet dating better, I am such a hurry grocery shopping that I never notice much. When I am in farmer markets I am concentrating.. Here I can get to know someone,. I would ram my shopping cart into yours. You might run away, but I would be noticed. |
