good morning michigan. well im sitting in front of my computer (as you can see) listening to music and have some random thoughts i would like to share. i belong to a few date sites. do you ever laugh when you look at profiles because you just know there not real. ever wounder how some people can post some of the pictures they do? ever wounder how there could be so many single people out there? well just a couple of dumb thoughts. talk to ya later.

I'm not on other sites, but am amazed at what I see on some profiles. Of course, all kinds of singles out there. You do have to be aware of people posting old, and I do mean old pictures. I met someone recently that lied about his age on the profile and it turned out the profile age was even younger. He said he didn't want to date women his age.

When he asked if I was attracted to him, I said no. He called me shallow. I say shallow is someone who lies about his age to others because he wants to date younger. So be it. Needless to say, we haven't talked since.

The site is what you make it. Watch what people post in the forums. If you think you're interested, send an email. What can it hurt? I sent one to someone who reactivated, who was a member earlier. Now we are to meet, talk every day and I couldn't be happier. Was I looking for someone, not really. You never know, you might just find the love of your life when you least expect it.

It is why I have basically given up on internet dating.

Too many weirdos and liars.

Easier to sort those out in "real" life.
