 How does true love stand the test of time?
Aren't misunderstandings,tiffs and insecurities possible in true and pure love too?
I feel that if TWO people HAVE THAT REAL LOVE,,,,
YES,,,THEY can over-come any and ALL obstacles that lay before them,,,as their love will analyze and talk and grow through them.. To always be better and stronger in their love for each other... so, if it doesn't last, does that mean it wasn't true? |

From what I know if there are no tiffs, misunderstadings then it's not a healthy relationship. I agree...you can't give up who you are (thoughts, beliefs, morals) just to prevent a tiff...it will backfire in the end. |

Here is my advice. If you never gonna have fights and misunderstandings through many years, you don't love each other. Love makes us very sensitive first, but later there is very strong bond. I've seen couples throwing each other with shoes and whatever was close by and 30 minutes later kissing and ripping each other clothes off and asking each other for forgiveness. |

You know. I thought about this very thing the other night. How does true love last? Is their such a thing as true love?
In my heart, I want to believe their is. I fear that if I don't, then the world will just become a darker place. With everything that happens in this world, all the bad news we see on tv (or read about), divorce rates high, adultery so common nowadays...how can one believe love is real? Well, I do. There is an amount of good out there. I want to be able to get a text from my lady that says, "I love you" and know she means it. I want to come home to her dressed sexy, and know that she wants to please me for a night I will never forget. I want her to to just hug me because she had a rough day, and she needed me. I mean, is it so much to ask that you want to be so damn special to one person? I don't think it is. Negativity kills love. It kills relationships. Yet, I believe true love can conquer anything. Then again, maybe this is why I am single. Maybe I am asking for too much. I dunno. And yet, I still believe in hope. This has been a sappy moment courtesy of Goof.

If someone breaks up because of misunderstandings, tiffs and insecurities then they are not mature enough to be in a real relationship and you are better off finding someone who is. |
