SILENT RUNNING: ‘BLACK TRIANGLE’ SIGHTINGS ON THE RISE

By Leonard David

(Ed. Note: Reprinted with permission here from Mr. David with full credit to www.Space.com the website in which the article first appeared on 9/2/04.) Bear in mind while reading this article that in 1994 triangles were still relatively new in the sighting field. Since this article the numbers of triangle sightings have increased at a tremendous rate.)

They have become legendary in UFO circles. Huge, silent-running “Flying Triangles” have been seen by ground observers creeping through the sky low and slow, near cities and quietly cruising over highways.

The National Institute for Discovery Science (NIDS), has catalogued the Triangle sightings, sifting through and combining databases to take a hard look at the mystery craft. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, NIDS is a privately funded science institute with a strong research focusing on aerial phenomena. The results of their study have just been released and lead to some unnerving, still puzzling conclusions.

The study points out: “The United States is currently experiencing a wave of Flying Triangle sightings that may have intensified in the 1990’s especially towards the latter part of the 1990’s. The wave continues. The Flying Triangles are being openly deployed over and near population centers, including in the vicinity of major interstate highways.

I posted this excerpt to show that many other people have reported seeing a similar ship to the one I saw. I'm sure for you it would take seeing one with your own eyes to believe there's aircraft out there that the public don't know about yet.

Well I saw one & others have claimed the same

There have been entire programs on the discovery channel about the many sightings of this air craft with many different speculations of what it might be.

There are some people who strongly resist any sort of information about these things as if it disturbs their concept of reality. I have come across some people who get very angry at hearing any of this information and have lashed out at me as if I were trying to destroy their reality or their beliefs.

I think believing that there is no such thing as the paranormal or super natural or aliens gives them peace of mind, so they just don't care to look into the possibility.

In my investigations into many mysteries of the world, I have always been led to strange things that seem unbelievable. But they are there. Somehow they have leaked into our reality and can't be explained. I don't know if they belong here, but they are here for some reason. Whether it is a malfunction of the matrix or brain or collective consciousness I don't know.

Whether we should call it "truth" I don't know. But it is there to be pondered or ignored as you choose.

I acknowledge that there are strange things going on in this reality that I don't have the answers to. But you won't find me chasing UFO's or Bigfoot. I don't want to find them. I am not saying they do or don't exist. If they do, they do, and always have. If they don't, then they are illusion or delusion. In either case, I don't go looking. That is a life-time occupation for some. Its just not what I want to do with my life.

This reality is like fantasy island. Anything you want to experience is here. Just put your attention on it and you will be drawn to it. I don't want to be abducted by aliens, so I avoid those areas of study. But it does not hurt to know what places to avoid, so I read all I can about them.

and eighty five percent of americans are under the delusion that there is a god. so what's in numbers huh? of course there are unidentified aircraft that the public doesn't know about. i can ask everybody at los angeles airport if they know about the new boeing 787 that is awaiting flight testing and ninety percent won't know what the phuck i'm talking about. but guess what? it ain't gonna be piloted by extraterestrials.

Well, their real.... (grays)

I was with a friend when we were kids.
We were cutting through a field, and a UFO silently floated above us about 30 to 40 feet. It was a metallic disk with lights circling beneath. It rotated very slowly clockwise. You could see small figures looking down at us wearing black suits.
There's more, but that's all I have to say...ohwell

A week or so later a team of people showed up, and tore the field apart.smokin devil

There are too many credible people who have seen them to just dismiss the idea. And, it doesn't really make sense to believe that we are the only intelligent life forms in the Universe.

what makes less sense is to think that with the millions or even billions of years it would take for a craft to fly from another galaxy that the timing would be right that they would come precisely during the time that humans have the technology to even detect them. even travelling within our own galaxy would take more enough time to make such an event extremely unlikely unless they got reeeeeeeaaaaaal luck and launched at just the right time to arrive lately. even if their is life elswhere, and likely there is or will be or has been, a craft could have come an gone millions of years before life existed on earth or may be on the way now and will be here a few million years after humans are extinct. planets don't even last as long as such a voyage might take. the chance that a craft would be here within the last several hundred years is so remote as to be incalculable. you folks are just not taking into account the distances we're talking about here. even at half the speed of light a trip would take hundreds of thousands of years to get here at least and more like millions of years. do you really think it feasable to think that they just happened to leave that long ago to have arrived here in the past hundred years or so when we began sighting these things? c'mon peops, think. even the folks at siti think that these distances mean the chance of them detecting anything within a thousand life times is slim and none and they actually get paid to keep watch. jeez.

These beings may have existed before the Universe was formed. They may have the technology of traveling through dimensions, or worm holes curving space...etc. Our science is only a couple of hundred years old...laugh In that short time we have left the planet. Maybe in a couple of thousand years.... Who knows:tongue: Aliens have been reported by almost every culture since the beginning of time.devil

Yeah, thinking that our couple centuries of "scientific investiagation" is sufficient to say what can and/or cannot be done by a civilization with, say, ten or a hundread times that much, seems a little presumptuous to me.

yep, considering that for billions of years it's likely that other beings have asked the same question but we figure it all out in a century or two. well must be true because a bunch of people say it happened. not as big a bunch as say god happened but a bunch.

I can only tell you what I have seen...lol
Regarding God/Jesus you have to wait for the resurrection......, then maybe determine for yourself.

I have no reason to believe they do or don't exist..

But, I will say in 1992 a friend and I were sitting on the porch, back in Denver, looking at the stars, I said where's the satellite.. we found it, as it moved slowly across the sky, we watched if for a couple minutes. Then it zig zagged and shot off, apparently it wasn't the satellite we were looking at... neither of us spoke about it we just looked at each other and said ahhh, nah and pretty much tried to ignore what we had seen... needless to say I have never looked for the satellite again....
