Since everyone in my recent past are all recovering from various conditions (operations) and my son is happy and healthy and I got my dream house I probably already received my holiday gifts, last thing on my list is to find work so if Santa can help with that...I ask for a job I don't hate!

My Wish List

That the majority of American's make a big effort to buy Made in American for Christmas which will create jobs.

That the majority of people will volunteer a couple of days a month, especially if they have time on their hands, in something they enjoy. Often teaching the simplest skill doing the most mundane thing is a huge positive in another person's life as well as you are.

That the majority of people who have the good fortune of something positive like a tax return, bonus, getting a windfall use it wisely to plan for their future; owning a home, getting some education, improveing their health with better self care. It is the wasted opportunities that you regret the most.

That the majority of people try to be the kind of people they like. It is a simple concept but it can really make a big difference in the world. And for the people that do it. Positive, friendly, fun, patient, hardworking people attract the same.

That the majority of people who have had a cheap shot, or even a few, in life still realize that if they are fortuneate enough to be here they are very lucky people and can move forward and have a life that many people of the world only dream of.

Now enough of this serious cr-p! I want.........

To have everyone on here, on Christmas eve, have someone beside them
to hold their hand and let them FEEL,,,they are LOVED,,,by that one ,,with them...and to know,,,,their always be with them...

And GOD, if you could fill this list with your touch, YOU could take me to your home with you. The happiest man,,,to ever enter Heaven......truly....


OK,,,,THATS ALL I NEED...wink,,,lol Beam me up Jesus...

I don't really need or want much...the greatest gift in all my Christmases is having Susan in my life.
But, I will probably gift myself with a slightly self-indulgent dining experience...that I will prepare because I love being in the kitchen. There will be what I call, "The Cook's Wine," which is an incredibly great bottle(s) of something rare and yummy! I will have the love of my life...and a few precious friends nearby.

Otherwise, in addition to my work with Heifer International, about five years ago I started giving money...nothing huge - sometimes $20...sometimes more...to complete and total strangers I see when I am out and about before Christmas. There's no rhyme or reason...it can be someone smiling or laughing...someone that I observed being "nice"...someone that looks sad or in need of a friendly gesture. Some are perhaps financially in need...some are not. I put no conditions on my gifts. I simply
say, Happy Holidays. The looks are priceless...it is one of the reasons I so love Christmas!
