How do we protect our kids when they can be beaten for the kind of clothes they wear, the color of their hair, or not making a high enough score in sports? Things that are incited on public media such a radio and public chat sites.

Unfortunately we can't protect kids from everything. Some kids are just mean and will look for any reason they can find to pick on other kids. The best parents can do it to teach their kids to stand up for themselves and not let the bullies of the world win.
