s1ow....
The guy that did my tattoo did a great job. I would go to him again in a heartbeat. He is in NY, I don't think they have a website though. The name of the shop is "PHAT TATS", Oceanside, NY. The artist is Michael Carrio. |

Thanks for the info. i've seen some really nice tattoos over the years -
and it is always interesting to see something new and different and/or hear of a new artist. lot of them have nice photos of their work online thought some here might have art/artists to comment upon but maybe there just isn't all that much interest here |

If I were to get a tattoo what should I look for???? I have heard that
some ink has metal which isn't good if I ever need an MRI. Anything else????? In addition, I'm looking for a tiger tattoo w/ pink roses and scales of justice so far I haven't foung anything that quite suits me. Any suggestions????? |

make a rough aketch of what you are thinkin.. take it to a parlor n they
will make you a design.. they will modify it however you want... thats what mine did.. i had a napkin sketch.. hehe |
|
|
|
Have some one who knows how to draw design your tattoo for you-
that way you can get what you really want. Make sure the tat shop has a good rep and is clean. I don't know about the metal ink issue? Good luck... |

alexia - i think the suggestions for making a sketch and working with an
artist are good ideas - more personal that way toyed with the idea of a tribal on my left side - might do it with henna - also always liked "man's ruin" theme think a good place to find someone to help would be a local art school for something original and different |

That's a great idea....to get a really original design. My son could draw anything I wanted...basically. So it would look great no matter what it was |
