I am so excited, I found a cute little gift for my oldest nephew. What a crazy place to find a gift - at the grocery store! They have a little toy/gift section.

Ha! Ya' never know where you might find a christmas gift. Kroger's always has the coolest glassware sets at christmas time with a fun motif on them. I've bought them a couple times as gifts. I'm almost done shopping and I haven't even left the house....hehehe. I do too much impulse spending when I do!

I was so excited when I found it. He is in his teen years now, so I have to be careful not to get anything for him thats gonna offend. He'll like these games, though.

I got all my ornaments from Oriental Trader today and they are so cute! Good quality and they will be perfect for all those small gifts needed at school etc.

I'm trying to be ALL done and wrapped way before christmas so we can actually enjoy the season without worrying about shopping.

I started way back in February when the shops up here was getting rid of last years stuff to get ready for the 09 summer season.
I think I have maybe one other gift to get and then I like to have a few small ones on hand since there is always someone I somehow manage to forget.

I agree with others starting early and getting done early. I started this habit as the kids were growing up since it seemed that I ran myself ragged in December.

I even have all my Christmas cards ready to send out... Alot of the gifts are boxed and labeled. I think I am on top of the game this year.

Well, that's a great gift...I have collected the works of young artists for 35 years...(I have great appreciation for art but the talent of a fourth grade finger painter)...the people on your list are blessed, indeed.

I start shopping the day after Thanksgiving...and look for unique gifts for special friends and family.
And, I donate as I have done for years to the Heifer International Foundation, buying goats and cows and laying hens for people all over the world. See www.heifer.org

Yes, it sounds easier but it would be too lonely a situation for me. Whatever works for you, of course.....but I need those traditions. It makes me sad to think you don't celebrate your birthday.

Christmas shopping terrifies me every year. I've NEVER successfully thought of and found gifts for everyone.
Wrenches my gut every year.
