Girls probably will and some women might as well. Ya just gotta keep trying to find the one for you and your kiddo. Best of luck to ya.

Not necessarily-a girl that is genuinely interested probably wouldnt, but be patient :-) There are plenty of girls out there who wouldnt run a mile, just try not too focus/worry about it too much-if its meant to be then it wont be an issue. Good luck dude |

No I don't. But I consider life circumstances just like I would with someone that doesn't have a child.

if the child is the only reason for them not being interested-then they are not the one for you, simple as that-probably not worth the effort if they are put off by you being a dad

Some women will and some won't date single fathers. This is a very specific and personal dating choice. Not all, but some times dating a person with children will have baggage problems -- or a history in the very least.
Make sure you know the people you are dating and never, ever bring anyone around your child for at least 6 months. You should be in a committed, balanced relationship before your child meets your romantic partner; otherwise, the turnstile of random women in your life may have a negative impact on your child. Good luck! |

Ic - I see you're new - welcome. You might enjoy your stay here at Mingle a little moer if you allow the original poster to decide what is or isn't constructive - just sayin
Some women and men as well for that matter are scared of the responsibility of a child. Some women have already raised their own and aren't looking to raise someone elses. Ya just have to be and you'll find the right one |

no,not everyone does.

why do they run? can any one answer that I am not interested in children, and I do not date men with children. There are a lot of people who choose not to be parents. I want to focus on other things in life: travel, higher education, and someday being a wife. There is no biological clock inside of me. If I dated someone with a child and fell in love, it would end in a sad break up because I have no future with a man who has children. I wouldn’t want to be active in the child’s life, or co-parent (in the case of marriage). I only date those with the same goals as me; otherwise, we are wasting our time. |

I don't mind a man with one child. Any more than that, I say "bye, bye".

The person you are involved with should have good conflict skills, common sense, and maturity. If you are dating someone that is immature enough to get "mad" that you are friends with the mother of your child then you should pick better dates. You will face a lot of challenges. Make sure your daughter is sheltered from your dating life, and that you make good decisions for yourself -- and eventually for her too in picking a new partner. |
