An early dinner and drinks, take in a Nuggets or Avs game at the Pepsi Center, and then an all night sleepover at my place. Although there will be little sleeping going on.pitchfork laugh
nah its neither team for me but the dinner an drink sounds good lol

Well I'd offer a Broncos home game as an option but after the way they played tonight, maybe not. How about dancing at one of the local clubs after dinner? I'm not a great dancer, but at least I try. Or perhaps a theatrical play at the Buell theater?
nah i don't dance either but can take ya to a Bruins game where we kick ur teams butt lol winking

Well Katz, my date with you would be we'd meet in Las Vegas, do some gambling in the casinos at the MGM, New York New York, and Mandalay Bay, and then we'd take in a show at the Wynn or the Mirage. Cocktails afterwards for a nightcap.

I'll take it as a sign of respect that the date ends with a cocktail. slaphead flowerforyou

The earliest known printed use of the word “cocktail” was in The Farmer’s Cabinet, April 28, 1803

“Drank a glass of cocktail — excellent for the head . . . Call’d at the Doct’s. found Burnham — he looked very wise — drank another glass of cocktail.”

The earliest definition of "cocktail" was in the May 13, 1806, edition of the Balance and Columbian Repository, a publication in Hudson, New York, in which an answer was provided to the question, "What is a cocktail?". It stated that:

“Cocktail is a stimulating liquor composed of spirits of any kind, sugar, water, and bitters — it is vulgarly called a bittered sling and is supposed to be an excellent electioneering potion, inasmuch as it renders the heart stout and bold, at the same time that it fuddles the head. It is said, also to be of great use to a Democratic candidate: because a person, having swallowed a glass of it, is ready to swallow anything else.”

I always knew there was something suspicious about that word, and now I know why. Now if someone could look up the origin of the word "cockpit." laugh laugh laugh

it's derived from believe it or not, a skirt. The airplane skirt to be more precise. It's called an airplane skirt because if she bends over you get a glimpse of the cockpit. That's what I know about it anyhow.

I like all of the goopy-icky romantic dates to start after I actually LIKE the guy.

A cool, fun date for me is something active: indoor rock climbing, hiking, cycling, or going to an NFL or hockey game (any game). I like tailgating, BBQing, and hanging out. It’s a great way to bond without a lot of distractions and pressure.

maybe ice skating at a rink with some hot chocolate to follow, or possibly watching a live sporting event.

i'd definitely NOT like something overly expensive or corny romantic; i'd somehow feel obligated to return interest, even if i didn't feel any spark.

Ooooh, the outdoor, holiday ice skating rink is almost ready in downtown Sacramento. I love skating, and then going to a sidewalk cafe for cocoa and a little nip of peppermint schnapps from my flask! smitten
