well i can,t relate, it should only be used when necessary.
I prefer to show you love, the more you say it, the less meaning it has. |

When IN a relationship, EVERYDAY,,,in the morning and at bed time,,with
no exceptions except maybe saying it through the course of our day spent together, but NEVER LESS!!!! Once said and then together always,,it was said always, and to my kids NOW and ALL their lives,,every conversation we end it with love you,,,their NOW all adults, in there twenty's.. |

hmm manwich that actually makes alot of sense.
Say it when you mean it because when overdone it can decrease the meaning and significance of the word ~APPLAUSE~ |

Love:
I believe we all yearn to connect with another soul at some time in our lives. This work is my yearning, hope, day dreams of the past and present. To merely utter the words I love you is a tragedy! I hope to share my life with someone who understands the gift that love is and the care and tending it requires; retaining its power. |

I LOVE YOU should NEVER feel USED OUT,,,JUST SAID AND EXPRESSED
MORE!!! If two people REALLY have the LOVE then saying it should always be in their minds when not in their actions or their words...and in my 16 year marrage it was never USED to much or GOT OLD,,,it just became more respected!! |
|
|
|
I like to hear I love you backed up by actions. If you can't do
that, don't bother saying it at all.I don't say it lightly myself. |
|
|
|
Thankyou. I wrote that as a comment for a poem I wrote many years ago. I
thought it might apply to you question. Glad you liked it. |

I know a lot of people who toss, "I love you" around as if it was a God
Bless You to somebody who sneezes. In their defense, they may be sincere - but to me it's just too blaz'e. This is a learned behavior thing for me. I rarely even say it to my kids. They tell me and then get a "Back at cha Babe!" So maybe saying or not saying, I love you isn't just an emotional response, but more a response of how you've been conditioned to express it. |

I don't think there is any difference between men and women and it's not
something you can put a time limit on when to say it or not. it's something that comes with time. What I do know is if your going to use the word I love you, do it only if you really feel that way. To many people I've seen say it so much that it becomes nothing but a word just to say. So I have to disagree with saying it all the time and everyday. |

saying I love you, is not the same as saying I am in love with you..and
yes I love a lot of people!!!!! |

Shadow, absolutely. I mean, I can see that there are some trends, influenced by our culture, but ultimately each -person- is different. BoredChick, -some women also- do things like say 'I love you' when they want something, and only because they want something. And the one woman in my life who had the greatest capacity and willingness to love -never- said it in words... only in every single thing she did. |
