I met a lovely angel once, i knew it from the first.
No food nor drug or alcohol could calm or quench my thirst.
The feelings that i'd get just looking in her eyes
and when she spoke i'd listen to every word and know there
were no lies.
She told of a terrible tragedy, she'd slipped and broke her wings.
And if she'd let me help her i give her everything.
My heart my blood my soul my breath, were forst upon the list.
And when she heard me tell her this she sealed it with a kiss.
She said she had to leave me for just a little while
and when she was gone i found misery, and the pain was something new.
I searched the the sky the stars the moon, i looked for her everywhere, to try and find the feelings i'd found in the little time we shared.
I know she's watching over me when i look up in the sky, and see the suns reflection on something way up high.
Its just got to be her, with a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye.
I hope she's free and happy and always satisfied
