1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter or margarine
cream together the above

add 1 egg and 1 tsp vanilla

sift together and blend well..1 & 1/2 cup flour
pinch salt
1/2 baking soda
1/2 baking powder
1 & 1/4 cup oatmeal
1 cup coconut
1 cup raisins

mix all ingredients together and drop by tbsp on greased cookie sheet...press with fork...bake at 350 degrees for eight to ten mintues til golden brown...

ugh..made a mistake...the raisins are s'posed to be chocolate chips.....

sounds good, I think I'll try these.

k..so..you can put chocolate chips and raisins if you want to...makes them more chewy with the raisins....(had not made them in a long time til the other day)...they are well liked these coookies....teasingbrunette
