I have too many strikes against me and I'm not willing to change any of them at this time in my life. 1. I'm in my 40's 2. I have small children at home half the time 3. I'm overweight (actually I guess I am changing this one slowly) 4. I have Lupus 5. I'm Pagan 6. I'm not willing to ever marry again 7. I'm not willing to live with anyone for at least the next 7-10 years It's not any one of these things, it's the combination that I think turns most guys off. But, I'm happy with my life and if a guy comes along who can accept all that then that's great. If not, I'll be okay.

Why am I single? That is easy. Me and my ex came to a mutual understanding that we were not right for one another.
Do I want to change this? You asked for honesty, so here goes. Yeah, I would LIKE to change it...someday. But as it stands now, I just don't actually "feel" dateable. I am comfortable with being single, but here is what I wonder. See, I wonder I was meant to be with someone. You see, in a sense, I have failed in past relationships to find a "match". Yes, I try. I was married, and I thought that would be the be all end all of it. But it wasn't. I started dating, met a great girl, thought things would work, and they didn't. So, for now, I am single. I am picky. I don't just date anyone. And, I will admit this here and now, there is a certain woman on here that peaks my interest. But I won't pursue anything because I don't feel ready for that. Might not be the right call, but it is a choice I am comfortable with. I also want to get my life more organized than it is right now. But the funny thing with that is the fact that I never know what will happen tomorrow. I could talk to a woman that takes my breath away. I always remember a friend telling me that love comes walking in when you least expect it. I think this to be true. |

Love is always in the air. It's getting it to sit down and stay a while that's the problem.

i honestly believe i am still single because girls don't get me. i'm either too sarcastic, too crazy, too nice, too much of a jerk, too shy, too rambunctious, etc. it would make my day if a girl just said to me, "you make me happy no matter what u r up to!" waitin for the day. plus i live in a different country, by that meaning the ks/co line where there r less than 200 ppl per town.
