We went out to a bar tonight...Stacey and I and her friend and called a
cab to go home...Our cab pulled up and a bunch of kids got in it and
when we proceeded to tell them it was our cab...They got mouthy..we
argued and ended up...ME that is getting jumped by 4 of them...The
kicker being there was already 2 crusiers there and...guess what...They
pulled them off and let them leave.,,,.and proceeded then to ask me if I
needed an ambulance!!!!!!!! I have a black eye...bad one
and lots of bruises from where they were kicking me and Stacey does to
because she tried to get them off and the cab driver did nothing!!!!!!

Oh and the cops didn't even ask our names...so I'm assuming there will
be no investigation whatsoever!!!!!!!!

So our good times....turned very bad tonight!!!!!!

We plan to complain and Stacey refuses to leave it and so do I...Plus
they busted my glasses and one of the people that hit me was a guy
even!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my god Shelley! I hope you both are ok!

So they just let them go they didn't even ask if you
wanted to press charges? that sucks you should of asked who was going
to pay for your glasses ...

I couldn't ask antything before they were gone and yes I we wanted to
press charges...The answer...They are gone...Stacey's ankle is huge from
where they kicked her for trying to get them off me!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah we are ok...Bruised up good and my eye is almost swollen shut but
ok otherwise!!!!!!!!!

im shocked,i cant believe this what happend to us tonight and we not
even trouble makers at all..my thoughts about the us and canada,are not
the best,,,,,sorry dont mean to offend anyone but honestley the police
did f##k all!!!!shelly is an older women and so am i...those kids were
18/19..........bad language..not only did they physically attacked us
but used verbal abuse tooo........all the police asked for is do u need
an ambulance.....DO WE LOOK LIKE DAMM PARAMEDICS??????????im takin it
further,im mad as hell!!!!!!!

Did the venue you had been in have cameras???

Was the cab outside the venue?

Tomorrow when you feel clearer about this....contact the venue...do they
have a process for checking ID? Scanning driver's licenses?

I am unfamiliar Shelley, so am asking a heap of questions...

we called the cab to come get us jess,so it was by appointment.....damm
i wish i got the cab number,but it all happend so fast,but damm if those
dumbass cops wanted to they would and could of stopped the taxi,,,,what
makes matters worse when we said we wanted to press charges,the cops
said they are gone....pathetic huh???????by the way shelly and i were
sober!!!

Ok...so call the company and get the cab details...they will have the
booking logged.

Then the driver can be contated as to drop address.

If a private residence...bingo!!!

I agree it is disappointing..and definately I would feel indignant...but
if you wish to pursue this...then do their job, at least it will be
done.

Whilst all still fresh...and yes medical attention...make sure you both
do it in the morning..or later today, or whatever time it is where you
are...

No we didn't....we were too shaken up...Just got another cab and came
home...BUT we will be finding out who the police were that were on duty
and in the parking lot...Because they were there for awhile before this
even happened!!!!!!!

were on duty last night. Chances are they're still on duty right now
it's only 5 o'clock.

i get raped on a semi regular basis in my life. do i let them steal my
dignity!!?? NO...what is offered cannot be stolen. i no longer look at
it as rape, it is an occupational hazzard. a risk i face.

i had to diffuse it . i had to find a way to make it less offensive or
terrorizing, so i came to learn how it is used to intimidate and deface
and i said NO.

next time give up the cab, and let them live with the karma...nature has

I know it's no fun sittin' in the emergency at the hospital but I would
go get checked out. If you can manage to get something done about those
cops,it will help a lot to have a hospital record to back you girls
up.Those punks who did that,shouldn't get away with it.

We were only telling them the truth after waiting almost a 1/2 for a cab
we called...We did give up the cab apparently after being jumped...and
waited anothet 1/2 hour for another one!!!!!!! The injustice wasn't the
fact they took the cab we called...it was that the cab driver did
nothing and neither did the police who were watching and pulled these
people off us!!!!!

These kids were out for a fight and rude and arrogant to begin with so
were we just suppose to not say anything????

It is not worth what we went through...BUT I don't think stating a mere
fact should justify what they did...I'm not about to refrain from saying
what is right out of fear...NOT to mention we were polite about it and
it went from there!!!!!!
