Well, the plunger actually gets more emails than I do.

For me, it's the whole package! Yes, the picture will capture my attention first but if the essay leaves something to be desired then I lose my interest.

I do not care what a man has to offer me materialistically because I have my own money and "things". If, however, his emotional bank statement is in the negative -- I am unresponsive.



I, unfortunately, have quit replying with polite "no thank you" emails. More often than not, they will again reply but this time I am a "stupid b*tch" and no longer the great girl from 10 minutes ago. I don't need the abuse just because they are not my type. Ugh! Grow up!

When I send a first-contact and don't receive a reply, I can only assume they have experienced the same rudeness from spurned members. I do not assume they are rude -- maybe just gun shy from some of the nut jobs -- or not interested in me!

Ha! With all due respect, wait until you are chewed out, cursed at, and threatened if you turn someone down!

Think what you like, but there is nothing written in stone anywhere that says anybody is obligated to respond to an email.

don't forget about those who pyschoanalyse you and/or give you all sorts of reasons why a 'taken' person should not be a member of a 'dating site'.
