My sister is like that. I really dont like to talk to her on the phone because of her negativity. I feel really bad about it, but try not to answer the phone when I know it is her but then call her later after I prepare myself

one of my sisters is like that...
i think they are unhappy, or grew up being unhappy at some point. it's a lot less painful to be angry than it is to be hurt, depressed or feel inadequate. i just pity such people... i try to be nicer to them than they are to me, if that doesn't work. i just let it go and move on, and wish them well. |

Maybe it was a traumatic childhood or maybe a terribly lonely one. But if things are not in crisis they have to have a fix so they start stuff. Sometimes it gives them a feeling of power or control. Other's they are the rescuer giving or being needed for comfort, or answers, or help cleaning up the mess. As much as you can keeping these people out of your life the better. |

I love how many people are referring to psychic vampires. I don't know if you guys know this but that's actually a major topic in The Satanic Bible. I'm not saying it isn't true, I'm just saying it makes me laugh how it's possible that so many more people than I thought actually read that thing. Probably doesn't matter everyone knows the author made it all up any way.

My soon to be ex. He is just mean. Granted, it's been an AWFUL year for him, but he is turning into one of those crotchety, bitter old men we all swear we will never turn out like when we get old.
