Well, it seems like I don't have a place on this site. I have emailed a
lot of people, some to try to get to know, and some to just be friends
with. Out of all the people that I have written, 2 have written back. No
kiss my ass, no sorry I'm not interested, no nothing from all the
others. Where is the consideration here? All the women I have looked at
are "looking for mr right, and so tired of being used and having games
played with them"...don't they realize they are doing the same thing
when they ignore everyone? Oh well. Good luck to everyone, and I hope
you all find what you're looking for

Honestly, the best way to meet people here is by posting in the forums.
That's how we get to know each other -- I mean, sure, you can send out
random, unsolicited e-mails to anybody, but it just doesn't work, trust
me, I know.

But posting on the forums will let people see what you're like, what
your ideas and thoughts and opinions are. They get to know what's
important to you, they get to know things about your life, things that
will let them see you as a full, three-dimensional human being rather
than as a name on an e-mail that may actually be a little scary to them
if they've had bad experiences with guys sending e-mails out of the blue
before.

The nice thing about a forum post is that you get to open yourself up
within the context of a complete, ongoing conversation involving
multiple participants. It's less confrontational (most of the time,
anyway!) -- more of a group discussion than a
one-on-one-I-want-immediate-positive-feedback-right-now kind of
scenario.

I almost never send a first e-mail to anybody (it just doesn't work most
of the time) but I get plenty of e-mail on this site. And it's all
because I post on the forums. Period.

Give it a shot. What have you got to lose?

know you...if your not "amongst the threads". I've gotten to know some
VERY nice people here...just from their responses to people...topics. I
think your being harsh by leaving sooo quickly. Your barely here a
little more than a week.

Don't know if your gone yet(hope not), but listen to what the family is
saying. You need to post buddy. It's gonna be real hard to find a good
healthy family like this one out there. It won't take you long to find
