I don't think I've ever had a friend come out. they were already out when I met them. I can only imagine that it might be rough though. All I can do is be a friend and encourage them in whatever they decide

I have seemed to meet a lot of gay fellas through some of the women that I know.
The thing I have noticed is that it has never been very difficult to tell. So when it is revealed I have never had that shocking moment. There all pretty cool dudes. Actually, pretty damn fun to be out with on a weekend. Fun times! |

No, it didnt change anything finding out they are gay.. but actually, they called me this very morning and told me they have aids, and are dying, so.. I suspect that will change the relationship. PS.. how do you NOT know someone is gay? I always know. Aids is a bastard of a disease to deal with. Went through it with a young mother in the Pacific North West and a neighbor in Atlanta. This will be a time to really prove what a real friend is. Many will fall away. It is really sometimes the smallest kindnesses that mean the most to patient's and their families. Send you all prayers for strength and courage to be their angel. . |

I am fron N.Y. .....would'nt change a thing ..a friend is a friend. Me too!! Lots of friends came out to me!! So what I say!!! Who really cares!! I love them!!
