so the parents can buy expensive costumes, walk us around town and then go through every piece of candy before the kids eat it..

As per Christian Religion, Halloween is "celebrated" to chase all the demons away, so that their "All Saints Day" can be celebrated without demons on Earth....Cool, huh?

There was a time when as soon as the sun went down kids ran helter skelter by themselves or with friends door to door as fast as they could. If you could fit the school carnival in that was great but getting that candy was priority #1. Parents were at home. Then the world changed.

i remember when i was in grade school a friend and her sister went to this one house im pretty sure it wasent in our neighborhood but this one wacho person came out with a gun.. back then we didnt have any halloween at the malls

Halloween exists so that women (and men to a much lesser extent) get to dress up absurdly in public and feel comfortable.
