"I Wish Upon A Star"

I look up to the moon,
so many miles away,
and I think of the woman that I love
in heart mind and soul.

She is so very far away now,
almost further than the moon
because I can't see her
or hear her voice,
and I feel empty without her,
but so full of thoughts of her.

Wishing upon a star that we could be
in each other's arms on this beautiful night,
looking up at the moon together,
feeling as if we are locked together
in this time and place.
Feeling so much in love with life,
but so much more in love
with each other.
