 How can you tell if someone who says they love you is being honest?
The only time you truly know if someone loves you is when.. ..you no longer need to question whether its true or not. You already know... Pfft, I've thought I knew things, and I was sooooo wrong... 
You're such negativity.. ..on my positive vibe, man.

People can say all kinds of things but if its love you will know by the way the person treats you. I you cant what to get home from work to see that person there is a good chance you might be in love with them.

By their actions, I've learned not to trust what people tell me, talk is cheap, and actions speak louder than words. (Too many cliches, I know )
Yup..I agree with Call..I had a guy start tellin me that he loved me after less than a month but when it came time to "show" that love he wouldn't..not couldn't..would't do it..soooooo I sent him packin. 
I'm not bitter anymore..I swear I'm not..lol. That's not being bitter, that's being wise. I just realized a guy has been lying to me about how he feels about me the entire time, and I'm not bitter, I'm just pissed at myself for falling for it.
Yup..I'm at that stage now..mad at myself..I don't know what it is about me that sends off the "please lie to me and abuse my feelings" signal to guys but it happens waaaaaaaay to much..thats why I've stopped looking and just come here for the forums now. |

Have you ever heard the term "leap of faith". You never really know for sure until you take that jump. how many leaps can you take before your "leap" visa expires?? lol There is another term "Look BEFORE you leap".

No worries, I'm just really pissed at myself right now, more embarrassed than anything else, and I really hate to be embarrassed, it's like a sign of weakness for me. But yeah, I might email you later, I'm off to watch tv right now. Maybe family dramas will kill some of my inner rage

If it's obviously difficult for him to say it. Or if he waited a long time to say it.
If he says it 2 weeks after my meeting him, or without a hint of difficulty... It doesn't quite ring true for me, and is probably something he says often and indiscriminately |
