No I dont' mean on here, I mean in your job, etc..not here..here small talk is expected...but elsewhere...like I mean some of my gf can get me on the phone and talk for a long time about nothing, it drives me absolutely bonkers...frustrated


laugh Ok, i been there done that. Ill just cut it short at times when it happens. Some people have nothing better to do, and thats fine with me to an extent. So some times ill go with the flow and other times, Ill just cut it short.


I have to straight up tell them, I can't hold the phone to my ear any longer cause I am getting a headache, they laugh and say Your Nuts, and I am , but I get them off the phone..



If they are a friend then I want to talk to them. I am not sure why someone would have a "friend" and not want to talk to them.

I see a little small talk as respectful and careing but too much and it has a nasty habit of falling into gossip which I want no part of.
