while I have you here Jayne, do you ever make corned beef and cabbage? Are you OK, Tim? EVERYBODY knows that you only eat corned beef and cabbage on St. Pattie's day.... did you have an accident and hit your head? I'm not known for my cooking skills, but have done it in the crockpot a couple times. Don't know if I can be of help..but if you ask a specific question, perhaps I can figure it out... Unlike Jayne, I actually enjoy cb&k.... I have always used a crock pot, on low and cook it all day makes it nice and tender

Jan do you eat corned beef and cabbage? Yes...once a year... too high sodium...j but I really like it...

I like beef brisket in the crock pot just not corned beef brisket!

I was just thinking about cooking it in the oven is all, I will use the old stand by and then call the EX and tell her how tender it is

I have numerous things in the freezer I need to use up. I fix a fantastic recipe, and eat on it for the next X days.... ANd I have my married daughter, hubby, and grandchild here..they just choose not to eat what I fix too often to mention. The empty nest is something I dread, in part, yet choose not to dwell upon.... So what is you corned bf/cabbage question?...
