Had a dream or life saving moment not sure yet, but I was in a room filled with clouds and there was a ginormous stairway behind me and I heard these thunderous footsteps coming down the stairs and I heard a voice that said "there he is". As I turned I saw Oden coming towards me and he passed through me. When he passed through it felt as though I had been kicked in the chest. The weird thing is when I woke up I wasn't breathing had no pulse and was cold for what seemed like 45 seconds.  Who is Oden?
I guess it's Odin. the God of the Vikings. You didn't know Mirror!

Ive read extensively on the afterlife and near death and or dying and seeing the light. What was your experience? The memory is very vague. I have prayed and meditated and have ASKED for more...has not been given to me. I recall the flopping around from the seizure, seemed like forever. Then stillness. Almost like falling asleep, only it hurt..my chest, arms, legs, stomach, everything hurt, and I felt like I had to puke..but couldn't get up. I don't remember any tunnel, no white light..more like a floating sensation.. no pain. Comfortable..hearing my boys crying..then nothing. Like ..it's soooo hard to explain. Like sudden quiet, sudden stillness in mid air..but I wasn't there, not in that room, not near my bed where I layed down when I first felt funky. I was somewhere else..I was spoken to...I don't know by who or what was said...a womans voice is all I remember. Then being shaken..my name being called...yelled, more shaking. Came to on a gurney in the back of the ambulance...then out again till much later in the er..pins and needles sticking out of me. I know something profound happened...I just don't know what..spent a year trying to figure it all out. |

I wake up in the emergency room...on a respirator. Around 4:00PM I go into a seizure and go unconscious. My boys make a 911 call and the city's finest come and drag me off to the ER. I died, was actually dead for a minute or two. Memories flooding my mind and quite emotional. Something changes you after such an experience. Anyone ever have this happen??? 4 years ago I wake up in the hospital on a table Bright lights blind me, feels like my head was about to explode I scream when they touch my face, I scream in pain I don't remember much because I was unconscious most of the time My eye wouldn't open, part of my face was numb and I can't talk..What a freak I must have been. Days went by, I slept and then the doctor finally came...My left side wouldn't work...Oh God! What has happened? He told me and my mom if I didn't come in I would have been dead It could not get any worse...I had Spinal Meningitis Awwwwwww writergurl... I love you!

According to my mom, i was dead, when i was born. Really glad they got your breathing going so you could be with us today...
You too! I would be less of who I am if I wouldn't know you. We change by every thought we make and if that's true, when we read what each others' say our thoughts are already changed one way or another, and that makes us who we are and who we are going to be in the future. (((Frank)))

No, doesn't sound weird at all..I actually get it. Yeah..no bright light. Lightness all around..but not a big bright light out of nowhere. I was dizzy, going unconscious. Days after wards I remember being pissed because I had no bright light..or memory of what this woman said. This incredibly life altering experience and I didn't know what to do with it...still don't really...except enjoy life, spread the love and do my best. Thanks Gypsy

Kinda how it works for us now...we believe something and that's what our life becomes. Would it be so different in dreams, near death or death? I think we all get what we expect...in this life and the next. Whoa...glad I don't believe in hell..
