I lived there for 15 years. It got too busy, too much traffic, rent too high. The drinking water is nice though.

I grew up here and still live here. Trust me this is no place to live. The only thing this community has going for it is the mountain views. Ok the drinking water here is good. With 5 military bases here not much else for employment. Unless you have a enginering degree in electronis then you can work for most any place in town since most all employers are geard for the military. Not much else to do here. Definetly no work here. This city sux! In every since of the word. IMO only.

Well I was born/raised in Los Angeles, lived back east in CT and in Chicago. I've lived here 15 years and only met one other person that hated the Springs.

It's not NYC for sure, but beautiful, good people, a decent size and tons of jobs that aren't military. Great schools for kids, lots of decent shopping, lots of high end homes .. nothin to b*tch about that's for sure. Unless you're just into partying. LOL
