It took me a couple of days to "feel" my way around. not all sites have
forums...when I saw the word "Community" - it thought it was a list of members or something!  I find this with most forums to which I belong, though - I'm a moderator for a computer & a photography forum & belong to several others. You have a lot of members, but few contributors...it's really sad

Hi pkh...I'm kind of new here too and hardly ever talk too much. I know
how you feel, and it is hard to start talking and everyone ignores anything you say. Hang in there, maybe..just maybe...it will get better.

OK, I've been here for many weeks and only recently started posting. I
didn't even have a picture until this week. I've been busy, so give me a break. Geez, impatient people. Hey, it's good to be here. So I'll say something now and then. |

I'm an admin for two other boards as well. I also post on a few musicians sites. There are only so many hours in a day. Not sure this place is a good resource for dating but the community part of it seems nice. |

Just to let it be known when I first started it was scarey to just jump
in but now I'm not scared cause I usually just get ignored aways. I'll try to say the stupidest thing that comes to mind just to get a comment. I don't get IM's so I turned it off, I don't get emails that often and the people on my friends list never have emailed me personally. So I have been coming in less and less but noone seems to notice much less care. |

Good point made about settings.
Are your setting not allowing friends or potential friends mail you. I have had it happen several times. Just have something to talk about & can't. Open settings might bring folks more mail. what do you have to loose, don't like a mail, don't answer & hit DELETE. |
