its kind of like a biscuit they are very GOOD IF made right I have at least four different types of scone recipes all are good buttermilk ones made on a griddle are the best they are made with flour ,buttermilk ,salt , pinch of sugar , butter and cream of tartar :smile:

We do not have tattie scones in the US, I think they would call that a fried potato cake. I have never heard of these flowerforyou
