My girlfriend and me just broke up a bit ago... its hard to cope from having someone you're so close with, you spend so much time with, to having no one. Weekend nights are the worst. Thought I'd make a post and see if people out there are doin better or have any tips :(

I'm thomas btw :(

I stopped giving a damn, it helped me...

I feel your pain and had something similar happen two months ago. Of course it hurts and you wake up nights thinking how did this happen. When we don't get an explanation, realize that if given one-it probably wouldn't satisfy us anyway. Just know that it happens for a reason and we need to find the positive out of it.

You are now open to find someone that can fully love you for you. We are all entitled and deserve someone that embraces all of us-the quirks, the laughter, our life. She has given you the opportunity to do that. So grieve, mourn what won't be and go out and live life. Surrround yourself with friends, get out, and enjoy yourself. You'll feel better with time.

Well, I wish it was easier for you...but it takes a little time. You're going through the grieving process - denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance - and yes, they overlap and shift back and forth from day to day. Time will help you heal. Let your feelings be known...not just here...but with friends, family...face-to-face is good, as well. Don't be down on yourself...obviously she didn't deserve you...and this saved you a lot of pain later on. Unfortunately, relationships don't come with a gauge tha's easy to read like the fuel level in your car  , so we don't always know easily whether the other person is
running close to full or nearly empty. Take care, my friend, and know that you'll be ok.
