In your own words, please share what do you believe happens after death?
Some people may take the science aspect that describes the process of
death and what happens with the body afterwards. Some may go towards the
spiritual aspect.

This is NOT a debate just a discussion LOL. Don't get carried away. It
will be very interesting to see what people will come up with and learn
new information as well.

I am not spiritual myself. But I work as an RA, and I've watched a
Resident die. After that I truely beieve that there has to be something
else out there. Suddenly she just wasn't in pain anymore. When I went
to check on her I asked how she was doing. She turned to me smiled and
said "We're going to stay here as long as we can, but then we're going
up."

I take the spiritual aspect to death. I always liked watching John
Edwards cross country.

Death is like sleep. You know nothing. Thier is no consciousness of
time. Even studies show that a chemical reaction in your brain happens
at the point of death and at the point of sleep the same reaction. Miles

Cole,

That's amazing.

I believe that God allows us little experiances like that to nudge us
closer to Him.

Our spirit leaves our body and joins God...

Only our body dies, its just a schell.

I have seen some wonderful things happen apon peoples deaths...

I also know we will see others that have gone before us and

some will be met by them apon thier death.

Death is not death- it is a spiritual journey...

I agree Spider.

Hey Miles that sounds interesting. Can you go a little further? :)

One of my friends in the medical field told me about a story on how the
body has it's last reflexes whether that be a jerk or twitch in a body
part. Well where she was in training over a corpse, it just so happens
that particular body's last response was to JUMP UP HALF-WAY on the
examining table!

I would have ran so quick lol or just freeze while being freaked out.

The bible says that to be absent from the body is to be present with the
Lord. My beliefs are that once you take your last breath you meet the
Lord. he either says, well done thy good and faithful servant, enter in,
or he says depart from me i never knew you.
