octoberfest has started here.Its the largest Bavarian festival in the world outside of Germany.

Betty that sounds like a lot of fun. I spent a summer in Europe when I was 22 and had the best time in the beer gardens in Munich

Betty that sounds like a lot of fun. I spent a summer in Europe when I was 22 and had the best time in the beer gardens in Munich it is beer ,scnitzel.sausage and saurekraut every where yo go.And polka music playing in every mall. My daughter is out there tonight...hope she remebers she has to work in the am.

Don said this morning the Omaha area had a coating of snow He understated it....there were numerous accidents in the area highways....there were at least 2" of snow on my deck. My puppy loved it...I peeked out then went back to bed for another hour, since it was my day off and I had the option.... I really like snow...when it is appropriate... As for today: WHO STOLE MY DECK???

Bcuz it reminded me of by best friend being there, for the real original, aka in Germany, Oktoberfest, when she was in college. She said she had a great time. I still laugh when I remember the story she tells about warding off unwanted advances with her umbrella!
