More breaking news this morning, Former Clevland Browns WR Braylon Edwards has been traded this morning to the NY Jets. Edwards was an excellent reciever at the University of Michigan. He was the #3 overall pick by the Browns in the 2005 NFL draft. Edwards had his best season in 2007 with 80 receptions,1,289yds and 16tds

Good, Get him the hell outa cleveland before the locals form a lynch mob, i had seen some people down by the stadium earlier with torches and pitchforks holding anti braylon signs with old Braylon "Dropsy" Edwards picture on it. Get that worthless sack of s**t outa cleveland before he drops something else.

I'm excited. The Jets gave up next to nothing for a young, big, and very fast receiver with an unlimited upside. I can only imagine a change of address from the disaster that is the Cleveland Browns will benefit the young man.
As far as the baggage he brings, I would like you to name the NFL team that has an entire roster of Boy Scouts. In case you haven't noticed the NFL, while it does not quite stand for National Felons League, is not exactly populated by a bunch of choir boys. |

I wouldn't be to worried about baggage. He would probably drop that too.............

I wouldn't be to worried about baggage. He would probably drop that too............. No one in the NFL has ever dropped their baggage everyone that has moved on to another team it has taken several year and several other teams to settle in and live down the reputation. Braylon Edwards is no different. We'll see how much he grows up.... James Lofton Pac man jones Jay Cutler Terrell Owens Randy Moss Ricky Williams |

Im thinking it will really open up the run game and free up jets widerecievers. Remember when Randy Moss had trouble then went to a franchise in New England that has not really been known for troubled players, much as the NY jets.

The second best was when they gave #4 his release. Adios to both of ya!!! Sorry Browns fans got saddled with Mangini though. I've got nothing against the franchise. |

It is a homerun for the Jets. There is no downside. Not really except for the fact the boy can't catch a cold...... |

It is a homerun for the Jets. There is no downside. Not really except for the fact the boy can't catch a cold...... He is young, big, fast, averages over 16 yards a catch, and came for virtually nothing. Like I said, no downside. |

He had 1 good year. He is playing scared. He gets alligator arms. I will take the draft picks and be quite happy.... |

I hope it works out for both teams... |

They also got a pretty good special teams player out of it. The young receiver I don't know much about but I have read he is pretty good in the slot. |
