I'm stuck in my life and I can't get out!!!
Have you ever felt like that? I spend so much of my time building others up that there is not much left for me sometimes. |

Learn how to say NO... say it with me... NNNNOOOOOO. I must look out for me this time. Now go look in the mirror and repeat it over and over until you've convinced yourself that you are worthy too.

I do it to. Now all my kids are gone and I thought it would be an easy transition , but every day they need me more than did when they were babies, I love being needed but , I am having enough trouble paying my own bills.

I think most everyone feels like that at some point in their life. It sucks tho. You just gotta find a way to get out of the rut

I have 2 words...
Healthy Boundaries- It took me a long time to REALLY put that into action. Once I had given all I had to help everyone and when I needed something , there was no one there. No one could spare a minute just to even talk... and I said enough! It has been very peaceful since I learned the word NO..

I don't understand why NO is such a hard word for some
Maybe it makes me a hardnose But it's a word that brings power and it's only 2 letters!! I'm always saying it!!  |

It is tough but sometimes you have to let them learn from their own screw ups. If they don't budget and run out of money let them go hungry a couple days and you will be surprised how they will re-orient priorities. Certainly better that they learn the hard lessons before a kid is envolved. |

Sometimes I tend to think I pour so much out the well is dry. It is a hard lesson but after you bite off more than you can chew and fail a couple of times you will learn to look for more balanced friendships. That old a friend in need is a freind indeed is hogwash. Someone who is always in need is just a mooch. |

Christ spent most of his life helping others, look at all of the miracles he performed. Remember yes, take care of yourself, but you will learn far more satisfaction in helping others, than yourself. Only then, you will have learned, humility and God's grace.

Take a look at your job or home situation first. When I worked as a psychiatric nurse I was always helping to build up others emotionally, I felt very drained. Once I moved to medical nursing I felt much better. |
