I grew up in a very different era. Thing is I don't have my kids with me and the cells are awesome. As for the text lingo, if I don't keep up with them I get out of the loop. I am fortunate that they think Dad is "cool" enough to keep in the loop. Of course proper english is nice, and for me spanish is an addition.
