Can anyone please write or send a very touching/emotion (i will forever miss you) poem for me. i want to recite it at my mum funeral. I will forever be greatfull to anyone who did.

Here is something I used at my mother's funeral, you can change the wording to fit your situation:

Simple Words For Evelyn Geannine Smith!

A desire to write is once again upon me,
yet how to pen my heartfelt emotions escapes me.
All words I attempt, it seems, I've penned before.

For you mother, I want to create my love anew,
perhaps this is why the words come slowly.

I seek the line to convey to you,
how your spiritual presence has enhanced my life.

I search for the words to tell you
how deeply I care for you.

I hunt the language which speaks
of my happiness, when spiritually with you.

I pursue the message that utters
how I cherish our tender quiet moments,
when we talk in my prayers to you.

I quest for the phrase to tell you,
how I enjoy the memories we shared here on earth.

While you most often can read my
thoughts from heaven above,
I still seek words to tell you all you are to me.

My feeble search brings me back to the tried and true,
and I hope these simple words will do...
"I Love You"!...(your son, John)

Good luck, and sorry for your loss!

i wrote one for stepmom she died last yr right before thanksgiving.

the words you hear all the time is god loves you, he has brought you home again to began a new journey as where you once again will rekindle your friendships with others around, i know now there is no more pain, as i watched and sat by you untill the end.as you could fight no longer.i would rather see you in peace, than what you had been going through. your in my heart and my soul to keep...you had brought laughter to someone with a lonely heart and gave him many yrs of love and happiness..

the other is on grandmother she died 26yrs ago

i see the white butterfly in the sky and i think of you as i wonder how you been in all these days, i had watch and learned from you, as you never tend to scole, you has seem to not rush things but watch carefully what we all had done in life as where to resolve new things and new beganings. as you always seemed to take pride in everything we all had done, i dont ever recall anger from you only love and laughter you had ever gave, as you had been the inspiration upon many though out your time and days, your spirit and soul is never forgotten, as we tend to still count our many blessings that you had cherished from you, as we know that you are one of our angels watching over our heads and keeping us in peace and love

These are all wonderful expressions and sentiments, yet I can't help wondering why the request? If you were expressing yourself in art or music would it mean less? These are your forms of expression, listen to the music you feel and let the color of your emotion flow. What? Would that be too intense to be revealed in public, would you not be able to talk through the emotion (I can't that's one reason I write) - fine. Write it - find someone else to accompany you with the words your music speaks for you to you about your mom through you. Don't pull back in shock, you can do this.flowerforyou
