Any hunters out there?...I haven't seen any posting from hunters, so I thought I'd ask...

Yeah, I hear that all the time...  ...non-hunters just don't understand the "why" behind hunting...

It's a guy thing, I know. Actually all the men in my family hunt. Venison is quite tasty. I just wouldn't be able to shoot it myself...no different than beef, pork, etc....tastes great but I don't want to look it in the eye.

I can understand that...for me, the meat at the end is the bonus...I just can't get enough of the outdoors...hunting is just another excuse for me get out there and enjoy the things that Nature provides that most people take for granted...

Not a hunter myself, but support hunters.
Heck, just a few years ago if you didn't hunt, you didn't eat. Here in Michigan you can shoot pigs that have escaped the farm and 'gone wild' Pork and venison !!!! |

With the prices of groceries up here in the north most people grow what they can in the short summer months and then fill the freezer with Moose and Venison..
