Topic: Something's fishy around here! | |
---|---|
Years ago my husband, who has since passed away, went fishing in Mexico with his Dad. My husband caught an enormous fish, a Marlin I think. He had it taxidermied(?) and it's wrapped in a couple bedspreads and hanging in my garage. It has to be at least 12 feet long. What can I do with it? I don't want it. Can I make money by selling it or will I be lucky to get someone to haul it off for me?

Put it in the used restaurant equipment section. Maybe market it toward the fishing guide section or, a section that sell's boat's.

Good idea! Thank you. I've always been thankful that my husband didn't shoot a bear!

Yes, somewhere out there is a man wishing he had fetched that fish and who can use it on his wall for his own fish tale.

That would make for a great fish story.
Surf the internet for the story, buy the fish. We was off the coast of Ensenada, musta ben' back in 73'. Partying it up at this little joint we used to stay at when we wanted a wk-end away from the wife and kids. Well we were so hung over but we had a fishing/booze charter set up and ready to go............... |
